Affiliate marketing has always been a popular subject. Many have heard the term and thought it would be great to make semi-passive to passive income online. The question is how can we do it?
I have been exploring the idea of passive income again with Amazon. We know Amazon has its FBA program, but what about its smaller or more entry-level services for beginners? How can someone get started with a shallow barrier to entry and minimal technical skills?
I have been pondering this question for a while and up until recently, I was taking zero action toward answering and solving that problem. I have been exploring the idea of Amazon Associates.
Ammazon Associates is a program where people can create affiliate links. It doesn’t take much time to set up and people can earn various commissions online. It’s great because the consumer doesn’t have to do anything they normally wouldn’t do when shopping online. The key is they have to click an affiliate link of yours first which will take them to Amazon. Then from there, they shop as normal. Everything looks as it normally does.
The link has information for your Amazon Associates account. It gives you the credit for the customer’s sale. I decided to create one for myself and I am going to post it at the bottom of this post. One this will give you an example, and two, if you decide to shop for your everyday items and purchase, I can get a commission. Thanks ahead in advance for the support!
Amazon has many options to get started with. I encourage you and some friends or family to play around with them and explore! Have fun with it! Money and making money should be fun. It should be something we experiment with, learn from, and get better with. I challenge you to explore and see all of the possibilities that go along with modern-day affiliate marketing.
